About Bill & Jane

Bill and Jane are Thai immigrants living in Woodbridge, Connecticut. For 12 years, they've been running a Thai restaurant business consisting of 6 different restaurants spanning the decade. Currently, they own Thai Stories in Woodbridge, Samui Thai Cuisine in Southbury, and Coco Thai Kitchen in Suffield. After their restaurant business got hit hard by the COVID-19 Pandemic, the couple found new ways to earn extra income on the side, such as ghost kitchens and now a food truck.

They noticed that ramen has become more popular amongst younger generations in the U.S. and wanted to make it more accessible. They came up with the idea of a ramen-focused food truck, hoping to appeal to college students and the diverse population of New Haven, CT.

They are also in the process of launching "DIY Ramen," a Ramen kit delivery service that can reach customers nationwide. Their goal is to express creativity through food and introduce people to new flavors through innovative business ideas.
